Book Review: Little Scholastic Boardbooks

When my kids were younger I picked up every type of board book I could find to read to them and let them play with. For some reason I didn't freak out if a board book got ruined, because my goal was to get a book in the hands of my kids at a young age, and believe me board books were a huge hit with my young kids. I always felt there wasn't a large variety of board book for toddlers then like there seems to be now. Little Scholastic has a fantastic new line of board books for kids infant to 2 yrs old that I've falling in love with.

LITTLE SCHOLASTIC: UH-OH, I'M SORRY presents a lesson in manners with oversized lift-the-flaps throughout and pitch-perfect repetitive text!

From time to time, accidents happen and LITTLE SCHOLASTIC: UH-OH, I'M SORRY introduces young readers to a set of important words when they do. With engaging, oversized lift-the-flaps on every spread, children will learn the true meaning of "Uh-Oh" and "I'm Sorry" while also recognizing that simple mistakes can always be fixed.

This is a great book that shows young kids that it's okay when they accidents, from coloring outside the lines, to knocking over blocks and spilling their food on the table. It shows them that when they do have accident they need to say they are sorry and that even adults make mistakes too.

With it's bright colors, cute illustrations and over sized lift the flaps make this an appealing book to young children and parents alike.

LITTLE SCHOLASTIC: PLEASE AND THANK YOU presents a lesson in manners with oversized lift-the-flaps throughout and pitch-perfect repetitive text!

LITTLE SCHOLASTIC: PLEASE AND THANK YOU is the perfect introduction to these two magic phrases that all little ones should know. Engaging, oversized lift-the-flaps throughout the interiors allow children to listen, explore, and learn the power of "please" and "thank you."

If you're looking for a book to read to your little ones 2 yrs old and younger, than I would recommend picking this book up. It's a great way to teach kids about the importance of manners and saying please and thank you when they want something. From wanting a toy, to a bedtime story or a treat, kids are able to relate to what the kids in the story want and will be able to understand how they can ask for it.

I think this series of books will be one kids and their parents will enjoy. Kids will the love the bright colors, the over sized lift the flaps and parents will like being able to read a story to their kids and also teaches them something. I highly recommend picking this series up.
I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. ~ Anna Quindlen

the child in the adult, but to the adult in the child.
