When Penelope sees the poster announcing the upcoming school talent show, she can't wait to plan a spectacular act with her best friend, Tiny. Penelope has big ideas: Should they dance the ballet or the hula? Should they perform a scene from a play or be trapeze artists? "Oh, yes, yes!" But "Oh, no, no!" Tiny would rather just sing in the chorus. Finally, by supporting each other, the friends find the perfect way to be part of the show--and bring down the house.

It's Talent Show time, and Penelope is really excited about doing an act for it, with her friend Tiny. The only problem is, trying to figure out what to do. The two best friends both want to do different things. In order to be apart of the talent show, they both have to agree on one performances. Luckily these two best friends know how to compromise, and work together.

When their show starts, and things don't go exactly as planned, they're both there for each other and their performance is fantastic! This is great for readers of all ages. It also a great read for those getting ready to perform in their school talent shows. There's a list of great tips in the back of the book on how to have a spectacular performance. With tips ranging from Practice Makes Perfect, The How Must Go On, Be Polite, and more.
An easy to comprehend story, and cute illustrations make this an ideal book for ages 3-6.

the child in the adult, but to the adult in the child.
