Short stories from within the world of Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal from acclaimed children’s book illustrator, Cory Godbey.

The colorful characters from Jim Henson’s beloved cult-classic film The Dark Crystal, embark on new side-adventures “in the age of wonder.”

Cory Godbey, the storyteller behind the bestselling Jim Henson’s LabyrinthTales, delves deep into the Skeksis’ ruled land of Thra in this gorgeously rendered look at some of Jim Henson and Brian Froud’s finest creations.

Set in the world of The Dark Crystal, this story is one readers of all ages will love. This book features three short tales that focus on friendship, and kindness.  Each of the stories intertwines together to create a book that long time fans, and new ones to this world will enjoy.

We loved this book. Godbey's illustrations pay homage to the movie perfectly! His illustrations are stunning, and alone make this book one worthy of picking up. With the holidays fast approaching, this book will definitely make a great gift for long time fans of The Dark Crystal. I highly recommend picking it up!

I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. ~ Anna Quindlen

Good children's literature appeals not only to
the child in the adult, but to the adult in the child.
