Book Review-Who Wants A Dragon

By James Mayhew
Illustrated by Lindsey Gardiner
Published by Orchard Books, 2005 (England), Scholastic in the USA
5 Stars

A lost baby dragon, alone in the night is looking for somebody to love. He is pink and cuddly and very cute, and his misadventures will have readers laughing, as he frightens a knight and gives the king and queen a good scare. But when the little dragon finally finds his mama, he, and readers, will know that he's found someone who loves him.

Adorable illustrations and easy to read words, this story is a wonderful collection to any children's library. A lost baby dragon is looking for someone to love him, but the witch, the knight, the princess, King and Queen aren't what he's looking for. It's not until his mama finds him he knows she will love him.

It would recommend this one from infant up to 6 years of age.
I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. ~ Anna Quindlen

Good children's literature appeals not only to
the child in the adult, but to the adult in the child.
