Celebrate the 75th birthday of Make Way for Ducklings!

Seventy-five years ago, a family of ducks waddled off the page and into the hearts of readers everywhere. The brilliantly illustrated tale of mallards on the move received the Caldecott Medal for the most distinguished picture book of the year, and has been a favorite of generations of readers.

Celebrate the anniversary of Make Way for Ducklings with this special slipcased edition, which includes an audio CD as well as a landmark poster of the ducklings’ Boston by Caldecott Award-winner Paul Zelinsky.

This book has been warming the hearts of readers of all ages. It's a timeless classic that's been read for generations. Who hasn't falling in love with this fearless family of ducklings?

I was in first grade, when I checked this book out from my public library. It was the first book I didn't want to return, because I loved it so much. I read it over and over again. I loved this book, and desperately wanted to own my own copy. I should note I did return the book, but I had a late fine with it. Yes, it was totally worth it.

Years later, I now have this beautiful edition in my own personal library. This 75th Anniversary Edition is worth owning! Not only does this book come in a lovely slip cover, it also includes an illustrated map of Boston, and a CD.

I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. ~ Anna Quindlen

Good children's literature appeals not only to
the child in the adult, but to the adult in the child.
