Get in the Halloween spirit with Otter—the irrepressible picture book character from I Am Otter and Otter in Space, sure to be adored by fans of Llama Llama.
Halloween is Otter's favorite holiday. It's also a very busy time for her and Teddy. With so much to do, it's a good thing she's a Halloween expert!
With Otter's winning voice and Sam Garton's classic yet fresh artwork, Otter Loves Halloween! is sure to be a holiday favorite.
Really cute Halloween story. In preparing for Halloween, Otter uses her imagination when it comes to decorating her house, and making the perfect costume. But what will Otter be? There are so many choices to make. Things seems to be going great, until Otter gets scared with some of the costume choices. It's definitely scary for her at first when the trick or treaters come. Thankfully she's got her otter keeper to help her understand that trick or treating and dressing up is a lot of fun.

Great for story time, and reading out loud, or by one's self, I'd definitely recommend adding this book to your Halloween lists. We love Otter, and her stories. Not only are her stories fun, the illustrations are simply adorable! We love the little details in each picture.

This book is great for a class/group story time! I recently read this adorable book during a story time at a local elementary school, and the kindergarten class loved it. It was engaging, and easy for them to follow along. They loved seeing all that Otter does to get ready for Halloween. This book is definitely worth picking up and reading.

Mittens the kitten wants to help Nick get ready for Halloween. But when Mittens tries to paint spooky faces, put up spooky cobwebs, and make orange cookies, he makes a mess instead! Halloween activities take center stage in this sweet beginning reader about Mittens.
This My First I Can Read Book is perfect for shared reading with toddlers and very young children. Basic language, word repetition, and whimsical illustrations make this book just right for the emergent reader.
It's Halloween and Mittens wants to help Nick get ready for it. Only problem is, when ever she tries to help him, she ends up making a bigger mess. Whether making cookies, or carving pumpkins, things don't turn out quite like she tries to make them. That is, until the decorating. Thanks to Mittens, Nick has a really cool Halloween decoration hanging up outside.

This is a great earlier reader. With easy to read words, repetition and cute illustrations, early readers will enjoy reading about Mittens, and the fun that's had at Halloween. It also makes a great read out loud for story time or one on one reading.

I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. ~ Anna Quindlen

the child in the adult, but to the adult in the child.
