Sophie loves the hidden shop below her parents' bookstore, where dreams are secretly bought and sold. When the dream shop is robbed and her parents go missing, Sophie must unravel the truth to save them. Together with her best friend—a wisecracking and fanatically loyal monster named Monster—she must decide whom to trust with her family’s carefully guarded secrets. Who will help them, and who will betray them?

There are a lot of great MG books being released this year. Sometimes it's hard keeping up with all the upcoming releases. This one a fellow blogger brought to my attention. I'm looking forward to reading this one when it's out this coming fall.

What children's book are you looking forward to getting your hands on?

  1. I'm looking forward to reading Jessica Lawson't Nooks & Crannies. She's an excellent writer.

  2. I'm looking forward to reading The Wolf Wilder by Katherine Rundell..I really love her books - the settings and the types of characters she creates are wonderful..she's a great writer!

  3. This comment has been removed by the author.

  4. Rebecca Stead's newest: GOODBYE STRANGER

I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. ~ Anna Quindlen

Good children's literature appeals not only to
the child in the adult, but to the adult in the child.
